Are the classes really free?

Yes — completely free. No fee to attend, no membership to sign up for, no upsell at the end. We host these because the more informed Texans are about custom building, the better the experience is for everyone.

Where do y'all host the classes?

We host most of our classes across the greater Texas Hill Country — San Antonio, New Braunfels, Spring Branch, Canyon Lake, San Marcos, Kyle (just outside of Austin), and surrounding areas at a builders live job site or classroom type setting. Online webinars are accessible from anywhere.

Where are most of your preferred builders located?

Most of our partner builders work the San Antonio market north to Fredericksburg, up through Austin, and along the I-35 corridor. We're continuing to add Hill Country and Central Texas builders as the network grows.

What's y'all's price per square foot?

Pricing per square foot varies by builder, location, and the scope of your project. We use a menu-pricing approach so you can compare options across builders and make the most informed decision for your family. We'll never push you toward a specific builder — the right fit depends on your goals, your budget, and your timeline.

Do y'all offer online webinars?

Yes — our "Be Your Own Builder" webinar is available on demand right now. Built Green Custom Homes also currently offers their own online webinars, and we're actively working on bringing more on-demand educational content directly through My Texas Home Build.

Can y'all help with financing?

Yes. Scott Thomas, founder and owner of Harbor Financial Mortgage, can help with construction loans, traditional residential mortgages, and refinancing. Whether you're financing a new custom build or a traditional home purchase, Scott's team will walk you through the options. All loans are subject to credit approval and program guidelines.
